Employee Benefits

At H&M, we believe that the dollars spent to provide benefits to our employees is among one of the most important investments we can make. We care about the people that work for us. Providing employees with the best in benefits is one very important way H&M works for you.

H&M provides both its employees and their dependents with a group health insurance plan. Employees may also choose from a variety of other benefits. A 401(k) retirement plan is also available to H&M employees.

Listed below are the complete set of current benefits we offer our full-time employees.

Benefit Description
Medical Insurance An HMO is offered to employees and their dependents through Dean Health Plan.
Dental Insurance Employees and their dependents are offered dental through Anthem.
Flexible Spending Account Administered through Paychex, this benefit allows you to pay for dependent care and certain unreimbursed medical expenses with pretax dollars.
Life & Disability Insurance Administered through Diversified Insurance Associates. To sign up for life insurance, long and short-term disability and additional catastrophic insurance contact Diversified Insurance Associates directly at (608) 833-7880.
401(k) Full-time employees are eligible for our 401(k) program the 1st of each quarter (January 1, April 1, July 1, October 1), following 90 days of employment.
Employee contributions are fully vested. H&M Distributing's contributions are fully vested after 6 years of service.
Accumulated Time Off (ATO) Allocation is based on full-time status (i.e. a full-time employees start accruing ATO on their first day of employment. For the first year, the allotment is 40 hours).
In addition to ATO, employees also receive paid holidays.
Educational Assistance Employees are eligible for 100% reimbursement of educational expenses (tuition & textbook) for job related courses taken at the Company's request.
Employee Purchases Employees (21 years of age or older) may purchase beverages for personal use at special employee discount prices.
