Company History
George Colletti, President, purchased the smallest area distributor in 1972 from the Meier family. The company has grown to become the largest area wholesale beer distributor. Currently, we enjoy control of nearly 50% of the Dane County market.
Original building construction was completed in 1980 and now after two additions totals nearly 55,000 square feet. The warehouse portion of the building is of a controlled temperature design. The case beer is kept between 42 and 64 degrees or 3 degrees above the dew point, depending on the outside temperature. We have the ability to maintain a temperature of 38 degrees if ever necessary. Our two large coolers keep our inventory of pasteurized keg beer at a constant 38 degrees. Although our inventory level fluctuates, we maintain an average of 125,000 cases and 6,000 kegs of beer in the warehouse. |
